The core claim that mRNA technology persists indefinitely and harms vaccinated people broadly is largely a misconception or overextrapolation, though some legitimate questions exist about rare persistence of components (mRNA or spike protein) and specific adverse events. How mRNA vaccines work and their normal fate mRNA vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna) deliver synthetic mRNA in lipid nanoparticles that instructs cells (mostly at the injection site and nearby lymph nodes) to produce a harmless piece of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. This triggers an immune response. The mRNA is fragile and short-lived: It is degraded by cellular processes within hours to a few days after doing its job. It never enters the cell nucleus and does not alter DNA. The resulting spike protein is also cleared relatively quickly—typically within weeks—as the immune system processes it.
