Victory! Today, the Supreme Court ruled in a 6-to-3 decision in Trump v Slaughter that the President has the power to remove those government officials who derive their offices from his appointment. Chief Judge Roberts wrote the opinion of this monumental decision, stating, "What text, history, and structure settle, our precedent confirms – the President may remove his subordinates at will."
