By the time the Aztecs discovered it, the city had already been abandoned for centuries, its once great structures lying in ruins. They called it Teotihuacan ”the place where the gods were created” because even they did not know who had built this. These structures have not survived, they were demolished by the US government during the 1900s! I can't imagine why It looks like a horse & buggy society just moved into the ruins of a past advanced civilization I’m not buying that a pre-electric, horse&wagon society built this
