Do you notice that less than 1 in 20 came to the US. The other thing to note is that most slaves went to Spanish speaking countries. That is where the African slaves were called "Negros" because it was the Spanish/Portugese word for black. You see most of the slave traders were not white but rather Spanish/Portugese.
