2 of my favorite men. Wow, Dad, you made it. God gave you 41 more years, one more than you asked for. 41 yrs ago, you went out to wash the car, you barely made it back to the house before getting sick and losing a pint of blood. You have something like 4 bleeding ulcers in your stomach. I will always be thankful to a kind, sweet kid, someone most shyed away from because of his father. But Ricky, may you rest in peace, you stayed with me, sitting on the hill holding the dogs, holding me. And I will always be grateful for that. I just hope you knew how much that meant to me. I wish I could have told you before you passed. Anyway, dad, today we celebrate 81 yrs of you. A man who I would not be here without, a man who has been there for me. Happy birthday, dad. I love you.
