"EASY BELIEVISM" AND "FAITH ALONE" We have declined to the point in last-day Christianity to where we not only have unnecessary disagreements, but we also further such disagreements by using the wrong language and promoting unnecessary confusion and division. I've been seeing people equate "easy believism" with "faith alone" salvation, which is very misleading and sometimes even deliberate deceit. Easy believism is the old term for what I call EMPTY believism. It is not a good thing, and it is not "faith alone" salvation. "Easy believism," for the most part, is a term that has traditionally been used by genuine Christians to describe the vain practices of those who produce fake converts by leading them into a meaningless, empty prayer. In such cases, there is no Holy Ghost conviction or Holy Ghost leadership, so there is no repentance and no true salvation. That is NOT "faith alone" salvation. That is FAKE salvation.I stopped using the term "EASY believism" a few years ago because I saw how the devil was using it against us. When pointing out that some are practicing "EASY believism," I would often hear their talking point comback: "So, are you suggesting that salvation should be HARD?" You see, instead of facing the obvious truth, these people would rather win an argument by playing around with words . . . while damning souls to hell (Mat. 23:15). Refusing to play their stupid little word game, I started calling them EMPTY believists, since they are EMPTY of the Holy Spirit in pretty much everything they do. Whatever you call it, it is FAKE salvation, not faith alone salvation. I firmly believe in faith alone salvation, but I do NOT believe in easy or empty believism. Leave it to the brethren to make the issue more confusing than a fire drill instead of just facing the truth and REPENTING.
