Apparently, the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was in such poor condition that it suffered from leaks, aging infrastructure, algae growth, and murky water, leading to major restoration efforts. Today, after extensive repairs, upgrades, and recent maintenance work, the iconic pool has been cleaned up significantly, with clearer water and a much more polished appearance, restoring one of Washington, D.C.'s most iconic views.
