Trump Admin to Re-Engage with Bill Gates’ Gavi Vaccine Alliance, After RFK Jr. Pulled Funding Over Safety Concerns
Big news from the State Department: Secretary Marco Rubio just told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that the U.S. is moving to “re-engage” with Gavi, the massive international vaccine group heavily backed by Bill Gates.
This comes just one year after HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. yanked hundreds of millions in U.S. funding, pointing to serious issues with vaccines like the DTP jab.
Kennedy cited a 2017 study showing girls vaccinated with DTP were 10 times more likely to die from all causes in the first six months compared to unvaccinated kids.
He called out Gavi for treating safety problems as PR crises instead of health priorities.
Rubio referenced the African Ebola outbreak as the reason for jumping back in, saying the decision to re-engage was made a few weeks ago while still “respecting” HHS input.
But questions remain: Has Gavi addressed the safety concerns that led to the funding cut in the first place?
Context that matters:
• Gavi is described as the largest player pushing vaccines globally, with deep Gates Foundation ties.
• VAERS data has logged millions of adverse event reports for vaccines since 1990.
• This reversal happens amid ongoing global health debates, including recent Ebola developments.
Love him or not, Trump promised to prioritize American interests and listen to voices like RFK Jr. on health.
Many in the freedom community hoped this meant a clean break from old global vaccine cartels.
Is this a pragmatic move for international stability, or a step back toward business-as-usual with Gates-linked initiatives?
What do you think?
Should the U.S. be funding these programs again without full transparency on safety data?
