Matthew 13:22 "He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful."Many Christians would never intentionally reject God's Word, yet they neglect it every day. We wake up and check social media. We scroll through updates, videos, news, sports, politics, and entertainment. Before long, minutes become hours. Yet the Bible remains closed. The danger is not always wickedness. Sometimes it is distraction.Satan knows that a believer feeding on God's Word will grow stronger. Therefore, he often uses the cares of this world to keep us busy, occupied, and distracted.We find time for notifications, messages, and endless scrolling, but struggle to spend ten minutes reading the Scriptures. The question is not whether you have time. The question is what receives your time first.Before you open Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, or the news tomorrow morning, open your Bible. Feed your soul before you feed your curiosity. The world will always have something new to say. God's Word has something eternal to say.
