I honestly can't understand why the Liberals are blocking the Health Committee from investigating the $300 million PrescribeIT scandal. They claim to be a "new government," the Prime Minister and the Health Minister who spent this money are long gone. It should be the easiest thing in the world for them to say "that was a mistake, we need to not repeat that mistake, let's get the former CEO in here to explain what on Earth happened." It should also be easy for them to say "Wow, Canada Health Infoway blew $300 million on a program that didn't work? And the Chair of the Board can't name one tangible thing they've built over the last 20 years? Maybe let's not give them another $50 million to blow this year?" But that's not what they're doing. They're turning off the cameras, they're filibustering, they're doing whatever it takes to avoid talking about this. And they're giving Canada Health Infoway another $50 million of YOUR money this year. Only YOU can stop this! They won't listen to me.
