👉 BEFORE YOU SCROLL…
Someone reading this today…
feels overwhelmed.
🌊 Bills.
🌊 Fear.
🌊 Bad news.
🌊 Uncertainty about tomorrow.
And lately…
it feels like the waves just keep getting higher.
Maybe you’ve smiled in front of others…
while quietly wondering inside:
👉 “Am I going under?”
But there is something powerful I want you to remember today:
📖 A number of men and women in the Bible went THROUGH or INTO the waters…
…but Jesus walked ABOVE them.
⸻
✨HE WALKS ABOVE THE STORM ✨
Moses led the children of Israel safely through the Red Sea after God opened the waters before them.
Naaman the Syrian dipped himself seven times in the River Jordan and was healed of his leprosy.
Jonah was swallowed into the deep waters and carried in the belly of a great fish for three days before being brought safely back to land.
Others in Scripture were carried by the water…
…but Jesus never sank beneath it.
He walked on it!
👉 Jesus did not walk THROUGH the water.
👉 Jesus did not dip Himself INTO the water.
👉 Jesus was not carried DOWN into the deep water.
Even when the great storm hit…
đź“– John 6:18-21 (KJV)
“And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.
So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.
But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.
Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.”
⸻
What a Savior.
👉 While the disciples feared the storm…
Jesus walked ABOVE it.
👉 While the waves terrified the men in the boat…
Jesus was GREATER than the waves.
👉 While others struggled just trying to stay afloat…
Jesus walked calmly upon the very thing that frightened them.
And that reminds me today:
👉 Jesus is never beneath the storm.
👉 Jesus is never overwhelmed by the waves.
👉 Jesus is never frightened by what frightens us.
He is still Lord over the water.
He is still Lord over the storm.
He is still Lord over the deep places of life.
And perhaps someone reading this today needs to hear these simple words again:
✨ “It is I; be not afraid.” ✨
Because the same Savior who walked upon the sea…
still walks above every storm we face today.
So take heart.
🌊 The waves may be high…
…but Jesus is higher.
And someone reading this today…
desperately needed to hear that.
⸻
“Then they willingly received him into the ship…”
And Revelation 22:17 reminds us:
📖 “…And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
The disciples willingly received the Lord into their ship that night.
They joined the throng of whosoever will!
And one day…
I willingly received Him into my heart as my Savior as well.
That is why I have no fear for my eternal soul.
👉 Because I placed my faith in Jesus Christ…
the One who walked upon the water…
and still walks with me today.
