The world has its “3 stooges” that constantly keep men distracted from eternity: Religion without truth, Education without God, Science without wisdom. None of these are evil in themselves, but when they replace the fear of God and the truth of Scripture, they become blind guides leading blind souls toward judgment. Religion tells men they are “good enough” without repentance. Education fills minds with facts while emptying hearts of faith. Science proudly explains creation while rejecting the Creator. Together, they keep people busy, entertained, and confident — yet completely unprepared to die. Ecclesiastes 12:13 says, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” Yet modern man is taught the exact opposite. He is taught to trust institutions, feelings, degrees, technology, and human reasoning over the Word of God. These “stooges” distract people with temporary success while eternity slips away. A man may have religion and still be lost. He may have education and still be spiritually blind. He may trust science and still die without hope. Satan does not always destroy people through obvious wickedness — many times he simply keeps them distracted long enough to die unprepared.One day, every hospital room, funeral home, and graveside will prove who was right. Degrees will not matter. Fame will not matter. Money will not matter. The only question that will matter is this: “What have you done with Jesus Christ?” The greatest deception is not preparing people to live better lives while never preparing them to die.
