A Texas Democrat is getting ripped by members of her own party after making shocking comments online.Congressional candidate Maureen Galindo posted that she wants to lock up “American Zionists” in an ICE detention facility.Galindo — a sex therapist and housing activist running in the Democratic runoff for Texas’ newly redrawn 35th Congressional District — also said she would lock up former ICE officers and turn the local ICE detention center into a “castration processing center for pedophiles, which will probably be most of the Zionists.”The comments sparked outrage, with critics calling them antisemitic. Even fellow Democrats and The New York Times condemned the remarks, with the paper urging voters not to let her win the runoff.Jewish Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz accused Galindo of proposing “concentration camps for American Jews,” while Sen. Ruben Gallego said she should “never be allowed in any political office.”
