RICK CARUSO BLASTS LA COUNCILWOMAN NITHYA RAMAN’S BACKYARD BBQ BAN PROPOSAL AS “THE DUMBEST IDEA” Rick Caruso called out Councilwoman Nithya Raman for pushing a proposal to ban barbecuing in Los Angeles while the city battles crime, homelessness, fraud, and corruption. “I don’t know if you read about this proposal from Councilwoman Nithya Raman who by the way is running for mayor to ban barbecuing in the city of Los Angeles,” Caruso said. Pointing to destruction behind him, he added: “The destruction behind me wouldn’t have happened by somebody barbecuing. I think it’s probably the dumbest idea I have ever heard especially in light of the fact we have major issues in the city like crime homelessness fraud corruption and she wants to ban barbecuing.” Caruso made it clear where he stands for Memorial Day: “Well Nithya let me tell you something this weekend Memorial Day weekend I’m going to be barbecuing with my family so if you want to come by the house and put my Weber barbecue out, you’re welcome to come by but I’m not gonna let you do it. Have a great Memorial Day weekend with your family and friends.”
