The Real Reason They Hate Jesus ChristJohn 7:7 “The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.”There is a reason that some people in this world hate true Christianity. It is because true Christianity represents Jesus Christ. He and His righteousness testifies to the evil of this world. This means His life, His holiness and all He is, is a testimony against all of the evil that this world lives in and represents. In the book of 1 John 3:13 we read “Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.” And we read in John 15:19 “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” The hatred this world has towards Jesus Christ and true Christianity has always been since John the Baptist introduced Christ as the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. Jesus came to this earth and was crucified because of mankind’s sin. This world does not want to hear they are sinners. They want to live in their sin without any restraint. But the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ will not allow this to happen. Examine any religion in the world and you will find no outward threats to its teachings or its existence. Why do they put up such a fuss about true Christianity? Because of Jesus Christ. What a depraved world we live in.
