My God Did Not Fail!Psalms 144:9-10 “I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee. It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.” Often we read in the Psalms how that King David felt overwhelmed by his enemies at times. His enemies were not always from without, sometimes they were from within. Sometimes David felt like God had left him to the enemy to be destroyed. That kind of thinking comes from the enemy within. God never leaves His people to be destroyed by the enemy! Satan loves to play with our minds. When David began to think righteously again he found reason to praise the LORD! David thought, God gives salvation to kings! It is He “that delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword”. Yes!! Sing it loud and clear David! God does not fail His people!! You and I may not be a king but our God is the King of kings and we can rest our faith on the truth that He will not fail us!
