It's been a rough week. Tyler not doing well. He has insulinoma and it's gotten worse. Started him on a med to substantially decrease the tumor from releasing insulin. Seemed to work at first but after a week he lost his appetite (side effect) and gave appetite stimulant but only worked for a short time. I was either feeding or giving nutrical almost every hour to try and keep glucose up. He's 15 and blind too. Vet thinks he had insulinoma before I took him. The previous owners posted a day before they were moving back to TX to find him a home. The only thing they ever did was a rabies vaccine. That's it! I've had Tyler for a year this month. Sadly I guess it'stime for Tyler to cross the Rainbow Bridge. 😪😢
