Jesus Is Coming AgainLuke 17:28-30 “Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.” This text gives us what life for many will be like just before the Second Coming of Christ. It will be like it was in the day of Lot and the days of Noah (vs. 26, 27). People will live as though there is no coming judgment and no coming Christ. I understand when the lost people of this present world live like this, but it is disturbing when Christians live like this. Yes we must live. We must eat and drink, we must buy and sell, and we plant and build. But to do all these things without any regard to the truth that Jesus is coming again is a sin. No one knows when the rapture will take place and when Jesus will return to this earth, but if you knew today was that day or if someday this week was the day, how would you live? What would you buy or sell? What would you plant or build? How different would you live your life?
