pure986life537@gmail.comMost people no longer fall away from God because they hate Him — they simply become too busy for Him.
Work, money, hobbies, sports, entertainment, vacations, and endless scrolling consume their lives while prayer, church, Bible reading, and witnessing are pushed aside as “not enough time.”
Yet somehow there is always time for pleasure, overtime, television, social media, and worldly pursuits. The devil does not always destroy a man through wickedness — sometimes he destroys him through distraction.
The sad truth is that many now think it is normal to skip church for work, neglect the Bible for recreation, and ignore God while chasing comfort and success.
Martha was “careful and troubled about many things” (Luke 10:41 KJV), consumed with activity and responsibilities, while Mary sat at Jesus’ feet hearing His words. Jesus then said, “one thing is needful” (Luke 10:42 KJV). The lesson is plain: being busy is not the same as being spiritual.
A full schedule does not impress God when your Bible stays closed, your prayer life disappears, and the house of God becomes optional.
This world will gladly consume every hour of your life if you let it. Redeem the time before your schedule replaces your walk with God.
