I'd have a problem if I knew my home was built on any burial ground, let alone native burial ground.A few years ago, when researching my paternal family tree, I learned that a local church removed the headstones from the attached graveyard and placed them in Mt Olivet cemetery (where Francis Scott Key is buried) so the church could make an addition. They left the bodies and built overtop the graves. A huge nono in my book. None of my relatives are buried there that I know of, but a great grandfather was affiliated with the church, way back when. Which is how I came across the information. He was buried on his property near Thurmont.
