✨ Approving God’s Excellent Things! ✨ ⸻As I head back to work…back to responsibilities…back to everyday life…it’s amazing how quickly life tries to pull our minds back toward stress…pressure…fear…and disappointment.So today…I want to encourage both you and myself…👉 To approve the things that are excellent.Not the bitter things.Not the hateful things.Not the empty things.But the things that are truly excellent in the eyes of God.And oh my…there are still so many excellent things worth approving.⸻I approve of Christ Jesus my Savior,I approve of the Old Rugged Cross;I approve of a hill called Mount Calvary,I approve it will never suffer loss!⸻I approve of the story of Noah,I approve of the Red Sea parted wide;I approve that when Daniel faced lions,God stood faithful right by his side!⸻I approve of old Blind Bartimaeus,I approve that he cried out the more;I approve that he called out to Jesus,And by mercy his sight was restored!⸻I approve of the woman forgiven,Though broken and filled up with shame;I approve that Christ showed great mercy,And refused to condemn her by name!⸻I approve of God’s grace and His mercy,I approve that He hears all our prayers;I approve that His arms are still open,For hurting and burdened souls everywhere!⸻I approve of my Savior’s returning,I approve it may happen today;I approve that I don’t know tomorrow,But I approve that God leads the way!⸻📖 “To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you…”— I Peter 1:4⸻WHOOH, WHOOH!I may not know about tomorrow…and sometimes not even about today…But I still approve of the things that are excellent.I approve of grace.I approve of mercy.I approve of hope.I approve of Jesus.And maybe someone reading this today…needed to be remindedthat there are still excellent thingsworth believing in.⸻✨ This page exists for moments like this.If this devotion encouraged your heart today…please consider sharing it with someone else who may need it too.And if you enjoy faith-filled encouragement like this…I’d love for you to follow✨ Devotions From the Heart ✨Have a truly outstanding afternoon…and may God bless us, every one.
