✝️ Delayed… But Not Denied ✝️⸻✈️ Our flight is delayed.Two simple words — yet they carry frustration, uncertainty, and the quiet question:👉 “Why now?”Airports are filled with people going somewhere…until suddenly, they’re not.And as we sit here waiting, it struck me:👉 Delay is not God saying “no.”👉 Often, it’s God saying, “Wait right here — I’m not finished yet.”📖 “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart.”— Psalm 27:14 (KJV)⸻Waiting has always been part of God’s story.🌊 Moses stood at the Red Sea —water ahead… Pharaoh behind… hearts pounding.Help felt delayed…👉 until the sea parted right on time.🍞 A widow prepared her final meal —one last bite before nothing remained.Provision felt late…👉 until the oil never ran dry.⛵ The disciples thought they were going to die —waves crashing… fear rising… hope fading.Jesus seemed silent…👉 until He stood and said, “Peace, be still.”⸻Not early.Not late.👉 Exactly on time.📖 “The vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarry, wait for it.”— Habakkuk 2:3 ⸻Waiting doesn’t mean God has forgotten you.👉 It often means He is workingwhere you cannot yet see.Maybe you’re living in that space right now —between prayer and answer…between pain and healing…between promise and fulfillment…wondering if it’s ever going to change…👉 wondering if God is still working…But hear this clearly:God has never missed a moment.He has never lost control.👉 And He has never been late.📖 “And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.”— II Thessalonians 3:5⸻✈️ If your life feels paused right now…don’t lose heart.God is not pacing in heaven…👉 He is positioning things on purpose.The same God who parts seas, fills jars, and calms stormsis still directing every detail —👉 including yours.⸻🙏 Sometimes faith isn’t moving forward fast…👉 it’s trusting Godwhile you wait at the gate.This page exists for moments like this.I write for the person who is hurting…👉 but still holding on.⸻👉 If this spoke to you… share it.You never know who else is waiting on God today.👉 And if you want more like this…follow Devotions From the Heart.Grace and peace to you today.
