Sin always looks easy at the start, but it never stays that way—“whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7 KJV). Sin promises pleasure, but it delivers regret, confusion, and loss. It doesn’t need help to ruin a life—it does that on its own. But God doesn’t stand by in silence. “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth” (Hebrews 12:6 KJV). When God corrects you, that is not rejection—it is mercy stepping in before sin finishes what it started. Don’t ignore conviction. That check in your spirit is not your enemy—it’s God trying to turn you while there is still time. Sin punishes without warning, but God corrects with purpose. One leads to destruction, the other to restoration. Choose to listen now, before consequences speak louder later.
