Galatians 5:17 (KJV) — “For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.”We are quick to blame the devil for every failure, every fall, every bad decision—but the truth cuts deeper than that. Much of what we call “attack” is nothing more than our own flesh being fed and obeyed. The flesh does not need help to rebel; it is already bent that way. When you feed it with lust, pride, anger, or laziness, it grows stronger—and it will fight against the Spirit every time. The devil doesn’t have to chase a man who is already walking in the wrong direction. Too many are losing the battle not because Satan is strong, but because their flesh is well-fed and uncrucified.God didn’t tell you to manage the flesh—He said crucify it. That means denying it, starving it, refusing to give it what it wants. Stop excusing sin as “temptation” when it is actually desire. Own it. Call it what it is. The victory is not in blaming devils—it is in yielding to the Spirit and putting the flesh to death daily. => If you don’t rule your flesh, it will rule you—and it will ruin you.<=
