Proverbs 26:18–19 - “As a mad man who casteth firebrands, arrows, and death, So is the man that deceiveth his neighbour, and saith, Am not I in sport?”
** Stop calling it comedy—God calls it madness. **
When a man speaks of death, mocks harm, or tears others down and then smirks, “just kidding,” God says he’s no different than a madman throwing fire into a crowd.
That’s not wit—that’s wickedness.
Humor that plays with destruction isn’t clever, it’s corrupt.
It plants seeds, stirs hearts, and feeds a spirit that has no fear of God.
You don’t get to hide behind laughter when your words carry poison. “Am not I in sport?” is the excuse of a deceiver.
And God already answered it—He exposed it for what it is.
This isn’t harmless.
This isn’t neutral.
This is sin dressed up as entertainment.
Mark it down: every careless, cutting, death-tinged word will be brought into judgment.
The crowd may laugh—but heaven records.
If your mouth spreads fire, don’t pretend you’re innocent when it burns.
