Trusting God’s Decisions
Job 9:10
“Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.
Romans 11:33
“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!”
One cannot always find an answer for the whys or hows of God’s ways. Some people who analyze everything in life struggle with placing faith in God. I think it is because they cannot figure God out. Job reminds us that God does things that are past us ever finding out His reasons of why or even how. When I do not understand God’s choices I am confident I can trust His decision. His divine wisdom and foresight and knowledge are past anything we can ever comprehend. But why does one feel they have to always figure God out? God’s ways do not have to make sense for me to believe He knows what is best for me. One preacher I heard years ago said it like this, “When you cannot track God you can still trust Him.” With God, His ways, and His Word it is always going to be a matter of faith.
Does your faith allow you to trust God when you cannot figure out the why or how of His way?
What is there about God that you cannot trust?
