“These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him… hands that shed innocent blood,” (Proverbs 6:16–17, KJV).
God does not wait until blood is spilled to call it evil—He condemns the heart that plans it.
Murder begins long before the act; it starts with pride, hatred, and wicked imagination.
A man may never carry out the deed, yet if he feeds that bitterness, he stands guilty before a holy God. Society may excuse violence when it suits its agenda, but the Lord has already judged it — He hates it.
This is a warning, not just about an act, but about a condition of the heart. The same God who sees the weapon also sees the thought behind it.
Instead of letting anger grow into destruction, the answer is repentance—turn from the evil within before it turns into something you cannot take back.
God is not mocked; what is plotted in secret will be brought into the light. Get the heart right, and the hands will follow.
