More details about the assassination attempt on Trump from the New York Post.The shooting took place at the entrance of the ballroom of the Washington Hilton hotel, at the last security checkpoint before the event.According to the police, the perpetrator breached the security checkpoint and opened fire, then tried to move towards the ballroom, where about 2,500 guests and the President of the United States were present.According to the chief of the Metropolitan Police Department, Jeffrey Carroll, he had a hunting rifle, a pistol, and many knives.
