#new The Southern Poverty Law Center paid over $70,000 to a person who led the American Nazi Party, was a former director of the Aryan Nations and a former member of the KKK.#dcThe unnamed informant, labeled only as “F-30” in the court papers was paid the money between 2014 and 2016.At the same time, the SPLC featured him on its own public “Extremist File” webpage and used that page to solicit donations from people who thought they were helping shut down groups like his.The information was revealed as part of the 11-count indictment that was dropped by Federal Prosecutors charging the group with wire fraud, bank fraud, and conspiracy to commit money laundering. The indictment says the SPLC ran a secret program using “field sources” ( insiders they called “the Fs”) who were members and leaders in violent extremist groups like the KKK.They used shell companies and prepaid cards to make sure donors wouldn't know that their checks were actually going to Klansmen, neo-Nazis, and Aryan Nations members. The SPLC told donors it was “dismantling white supremacy,” then turned around and paid the very people running those groups to fuel more racial violence and divide so they could collect millions from donors after the fallout. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche saying, “The SPLC was not dismantling these groups. It was instead manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose.” Payments made:🔺More than $1 million to a leader tied to the neo-Nazi National Alliance🔺More than $300,000 to an officer in the National Socialist Movement who was also part of the Aryan Nations-affiliated Sadistic Souls Motorcycle Club.🔺More than $270,000 to a a leader of the group that planned the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville. 🔺He was instructed to go to the event by the SPLC🔺More than $70,000 to F-30, the American Nazi Party leaderMore than $140,000 to a former chairman of the National Alliance.🔺$73,000 to former KKK members.🔺Additional payments to an Imperial Wizard of the United Klans of America, the American Front, and others.🔺The indictment makes clear the SPLC never told donors where the money was really going.#ChristinaAguayoNews
