U.S. data centers consume an estimated 450 million to over 579 million gallons of water per day. A single large data center can use up to 5 million gallons daily, with total sector usage projected to rise steeply due to AI demands. These facilities, often using evaporated water for cooling, are significant local water consumers.

The water use is a farce. A LIE. I build, commission and run them. The water use is like filling swimming pools except there is no evaporation to consider. They are CLOSED LOOP COOLED.
