This was an article in The Telegraph by David Cox, PhD, a specialist medical journalist and Cambridge neuroscientist. He shares the story of Nikola Brindley, who was fighting for her life after getting a COVID vaccine. “I collapsed on the doorway, and pretty much lost the ability to walk,” she recalls. “My husband rushed me to hospital, my heart rate had soared and I couldn’t speak. We were told that if I’d been 10 minutes later, there would have been nothing they could have done. Cox explains that data from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) indicates that the injury numbers are not insignificant, with 95,403 serious reports linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine and 1,532 with a fatal outcome. 126,535 serious reports linked to the Pfizer vaccine and 920 with a fatal outcome and 31,339 serious reports associated with Moderna vaccine 102 with a fatal outcome. What's interesting is that during the pandemic, the science and injury reports from vaccine injury reporting systems from around the world were quite concerning. In fact, they were alarming, with millions flooding in. Yet those who were sounding the alarm were demonized, and media outlets reporting on it were demonized and censored in various ways. The 'ministry of truth' was in full effect during the rollout of COVID vaccines. The pandemic marked the first time in history when vaccine scientists, developers, doctors and other highly respected academics in the field, together numbering in the tens of thousands, were labelled as "anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists." Instead of investigating these millions of reports, attention was shifted to propaganda and name-calling. Even today, there is strong debate about how many injuries and possible fatal outcomes have resulted from the jabs. The truth is, we can never really know given the fact that the issue was largely ignored. “It was very unfortunate that from the beginning, what was presented to us by public health officials was a picture of great certainty…but the reality was that there were extremely important unknowns. We entered a situation where essentially the stakes became too high to later present that uncertainty to people...I think that's what set us off on the wrong foot. Public officials should have been a lot more forthright about the gaps in our knowledge.” - Dr. Peter Doshi, senior editor at the British Medical Journal COVID was a major event in human history that provided more people the opportunity to see how our world functions. Science today has drifted far from its pure form. It's cherry picked to suit political policy, while science, calling into question authoritative action is ignored.
