That’s the pitch, and Iran just said no.
After Trump claimed new talks were happening, Iranian officials flatly denied it, calling it “not true” and pointing to what they described as “constant shifts,” “contradictions,” and unrealistic demands .
They also made the bigger point clear in that threats like “the whole country is going to get blown up” aren’t how negotiations work. They’re why talks aren’t happening.
Trump says he wants a deal. His own words keep blowing it up before it starts.
