“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 KJVThe world stood at the cross and saw nothing more than a man dying—weak, beaten, rejected, and defeated. Their eyes were fixed on flesh, pain, and shame. But Heaven was not looking at a victim—Heaven saw the Lamb. While men mocked, God was redeeming; while the crowd saw loss, Heaven saw payment; while the world saw an end, God saw the fulfillment of His eternal plan. That’s the problem today—too many are still looking with the world’s eyes instead of Heaven’s truth. If all you see is suffering, you’ll miss salvation; if all you see is a man, you’ll miss the Messiah. The cross was not a tragedy—it was a transaction. What the world dismissed, Heaven declared as the greatest act of love ever given.
