Chrystia Freeland’s grandfather Chomiak was a Ukrainian Naz¡ - 3rd in line to Goebbels under Emil Gassner.Editor of Krakivski Visti, a propaganda paper in Poland. They seized the press from a Jewish owner and sent him and his family to camps.Chomiak fled to Vienna when Russia invaded Poland, then to Alberta, Canada.*Her sister was also working Ukraine.
