Salvation is not something ACHIEVED. Salvation is something RECEIVED.John 1:12 But as many as received HIM, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that BELIEVE on his name:13 Which were born, not of blood (You're not saved because your RELATIVES are) nor of the will of the flesh, (You're not saved through REFORMATION)nor of the will of man, (You're not saved through RELIGION)but of God. (You're saved through REGENERATION, being born again by the Spirit of God.)Titus 3:5 - "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his MERCY he saved us, by the washing of REGENERATION, and RENEWING of the Holy Ghost."
