Someone reading this today…
has quietly wondered—
👉 “Where is God… in all of this?”
In the pain.
In the silence.
In the unanswered prayers.
🙏 This might be for them.
And this I know:
👉 I am a child of God… a joint heir.
And I know God is not dead—
👉 because I’m one of His next of kin…
and I haven’t been notified of His passing.
But someone you know…
may quietly believe the opposite.
“God is dead.”
Maybe they’ve never said it out loud…
…but they’ve felt it—
👉 in silence…
👉 in pain…
👉 in unanswered prayers.
✨ GOD IS NOT DEAD ✨
👉 I believe something with all my heart:
📖 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1 — KJV)
👉 Jesus is not just from God…
👉 Jesus is God.
And because of that—
Jesus died.
He was buried.
And He rose again the third day…
📖 according to the Scriptures. (I Corinthians 15:4)
But the Apostle Paul doesn’t leave us guessing…
👉 “If Christ be not risen… your faith is also vain… If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” (I Corinthians 15:14,19)
👉 “But now is Christ risen from the dead…”
(I Corinthians 15:20)
👉 Thank Heaven for those two words…
But…now.
And everything changed.
And God Himself invites us:
📖 “Come now, and let us reason together…” (Isaiah 1:18)
👉 So let’s reason this out…
👉 Because faith is not blind… it has evidence.
🖐️ Five reasons I know God is not dead:
🔹 1) The tomb is empty
They went looking for Him…
👉 but He wasn’t there.
“He is not here… for He is risen.”
🔹 2) Eyewitnesses saw Him
📖 He was seen of Cephas… then of the twelve… then over five hundred at once… (I Corinthians 15:5–6)
👉 The eyes have it.
🔹 3) The will has been written… and the Testator has spoken
📖 “He that believeth in me… though he were dead, yet shall he live.” (John 11:25)
📖 “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore…” (Revelation 1:18)
🔹 4) The promise is still in motion
👉 “I go to prepare a place for you…”
A living Savior
is still preparing…
👉 That’s not past tense.
🔹 5) Lives are still being changed
Addictions are being broken.
Hearts are being healed.
Lives are being restored.
Souls are being eternally saved.
👉 Not by a memory…
👉 but by a living Savior.
Because dead men don’t change lives—
👉 but Jesus still does.
✨ He is alive.
✨ He is present.
✨ He is eternal.
📖 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
👉 So when someone says, “God is dead…”
You can answer with confidence:
👉 “No… He’s not.”
Because an empty tomb…
a written promise…
and lives changed…
👉 all say the same thing:
God is…
and was…
and always shall be.
Therefore, I agree with the words of a beloved hymn written in response to the question:
“Why do Christians worship a dead Savior?”
👉… Because we don’t! We serve a risen One!
🎵 “I serve a risen Saviour, He's in the world today
I know that He is living, whatever men may say
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer
And just the time I need Him He's always near!
He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives?
He lives within my heart!” 🎵
✨ GOD IS NOT DEAD. ✨
And because He lives—
👉 we can face tomorrow.
👉 all fear is gone.
👉 Someone you love…
who’s been hurting…
who’s been questioning…
may need this today.
Share it with them.
