I don't sit around worrying about a load of crap going on. Will there be a nuclear war? I dunno. Will there be shortages? Beats me. Probably. Will an airliner come crashing down on my house? Who knows. What can I do about any of it? Zero, zilch nada. Worrying won't make it not happen. Worrying won't make it happen. But worrying can freeze my mind and body such that I'm unable to think clearly about what I can plan for and have some control over: a thief breaking into my house, some guy with a gun trying to rob me, my water bill, the electric use going through the roof shortly, making sure my roof is in good shape, my truck needing checked out to keep it working, stuff like that. Not gonna sweat the other junk. If it happens, it happens. I'll accept the things I cannot change, change the things I can, pray for the wisdom to know the difference, and live the best I can with what I can control.
