Police say they were called to an apartment complex on Century Place after reports of a man approaching children and asking for sexual favors.When officers arrived, they heard a gunshot and quickly began searching the area. A short time later, they spotted a man matching the description - he had been shot in the groin.Investigators say the man was shot by a group of three individuals. One person has since been taken into custody, while police continue working to identify and locate the others. The shooter has been identified as 33yr old Markus Renfro. He is the uncle of the children that were being solicited by an adult male. The identity of the man who was soliciting the minors has not been released. We will definitely be sharing the identity of the male who was soliciting the children as soon as it’s released!The male who was shot is currently listed in stable condition and the investigation is ongoing.
