DID YOU KNOW an interesting geological fact is the Scottish Highlands, the Appalachians, and the Atlas are the same mountain range, once connected as the Central Pangean Mountains? Ireland was once in the centre of this mountain range and in fact is one of the few places in the world that has mostly remained above sea level for as long as there have been oceans! So remember, when you walk the hills of Ireland, some of them were once mountains perhaps as mighty as the Himalayas.
