While most Americans were heading into the weekend, Thune and his RINO crew passed a pathetic compromise that left the TSA unfunded and border security on life support — all while caving hard to Chuck Schumer and the Democrats. The result? The TSA was staring down a shutdown until President Trump stepped in and ordered direct funding so air travel wouldn’t collapse into total chaos. Reports are coming in of paychecks showing up in TSA agent’s bank accounts as of today. Meanwhile, House Speaker Mike Johnson wasn’t having any of it. He publicly scolded Thune and his weak bill, calling it exactly what it was: A joke. Johnson sent the stronger House bill right back to the Senate with a clear message — “Do better.” The contrast couldn’t be sharper: one leader standing tall, the other folding like a cheap suit. Now the calls to replace Thune as Senate leader are growing louder by the hour. And it’s about time. John Thune has turned “Yes… no… maybe…” into a political art form. He’s the human equivalent of a wet noodle — zero resistance, zero conviction, and zero willingness to fight when Democrats push back. A classic RINO who talks tough on the campaign trail but turns to jelly the moment real decisions need to be made. Thune, if you’re reading this, maybe it’s time to grow a spine — or at least borrow one from Speaker Johnson. The American people are tired of watching Republican “leaders” slither away every time things get tough. Patriots deserve better than spineless surrender.
