Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. — Romans 12:11-12 NLT Today's Prayer Lord, when troubles hit I often forget to pray. Help me to be patient and keep praying while I’m waiting for You to act. Forgive my impatience and self-centeredness of the past. Grant me persistence in my prayer life and help me to focus on working hard for the Kingdom and serving others You have put all around me while I’m waiting for Your divine deliverance. Help me also to be enthusiastic in my work for You. Give me a straightforward focus on my work and hope until You bring me home to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
