Thank you President Trump for honoring our brave daughter Sarah Beckstrom in front of the entire nation last night. You did what so many others forgot to do. You spoke her name. You honored her sacrifice. I could see the pain that mother was carrying in her heart. And yet they stood there with so much strength and so much pride for their brave daughter. But what broke my heart even more... was that when President Trump honored Sarah — the Democrats did not even stand up. No applause. No respect. Just cold silence. For a daughter who gave her life for this country. And that silence... said everything. And today I am sitting here with a heavy heart. Because people will send thousands of blessings and prayers to big celebrities without even thinking twice. But Sarah Beckstrom — a brave daughter who left her family on Thanksgiving Day to protect this nation and never came back — is being ignored. And that is not right. That will never be right.
