By Hugh Janus, TDS NewsHAVANA — Greta Thunberg sailed into Havana harbor Wednesday to personally congratulate Cuba on achieving what climate activists are calling “the ultimate green milestone.”“By completely destroying its power grid, Cuba has become the world’s first truly net-zero nation,” Thunberg beamed, waving the Cuban flag while sporting her trademark Palestinian keffiyeh. “No more dirty electricity. No more oppressive lights and air conditioning. Just pure, beautiful sustainability.”Despite the fact that the nationwide blackout has left 11 million people without power for days — shutting down hospitals, spoiling food supplies, and plunging the island into darkness — Thunberg called the collapse “inspiring” and “exactly what the rest of the world needs to emulate.”“How dare you complain about a little blackout when we’re saving the planet?” she added. At press time, sources confirmed that Thunberg was already planning her next voyage to Venezuela to study their equally successful energy policies.
