No more oppressive lights and air conditioning. Just pure, beautiful sustainability.”Despite the fact that the nationwide blackout has left 11 million people without power for days — shutting down hospitals, spoiling food supplies, and plunging the island into darkness — Thunberg called the collapse “inspiring” and “exactly what the rest of the world needs to emulate.”“How dare you complain about a little blackout when we’re saving the planet?” she added.At press time, sources confirmed that Thunberg was already planning her next voyage to Venezuela to study their equally successful energy policies.
