11. For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
Deuteronomy 30:11.
The commandments of the Lord are not suggestions; they are binding obligations, expressing God's will and character.
The Law outlines how mankind should relate to God and each other, giving moral and ethical guidance.
Obedience to God's commands is a demonstration of faithfulness and love toward God.
Obedience reflects both ethical actions and heartfelt devotion, showing love to God instead of just following rules.
The commands are God's instructions, meant to guide human behavior, preserve moral order, and cultivate a faithful relationship with God.
God has given each individual free will to obey and have a good life, or rebel and receive evil and death.
Since the first sin of mankind, there has only been one way to heaven, and that is through Christ the Lord.
The commands can only declare guilt or innocence.
There is no grace or mercy in the law.
It is the word of our mouth, the confession of sin, and that Jesus is Lord and Savior, that we may enter into the salvation of Christ. Romans 10:9-10. Amen.
