For 60 years the anti-religious left fought to remove faith from public life.
No prayer in schools.
No Ten Commandments in courthouses.
No nativity scenes in public spaces.
Religion, they said, had no place in government or education.
Yet today Islamic activists preach in city halls, organize inside congressional offices, and influence public schools…
…and the same people who spent decades policing religion suddenly cry “Islamophobia” the moment anyone criticizes it.
So here’s the obvious question.
How do people who claim to oppose religion tolerate radical Islamists?
Simple.
Because the problem was never religion.
The problem was Judaism and Christianity.
The moment a religious ideology is labeled “oppressed,” the secular left stops criticizing it.
Even when it contradicts everything they claim to believe.
Women’s rights.
LGBT rights.
Freedom of speech.
All negotiable.
The irony is breathtaking.
The movement that fought hardest to remove religion from public life now defends the most extreme religious ideology in the room.
Make it make sense.
