A 21-year-old man, Alexander Lamar Banks, has been accused of intentionally driving into a white family out for an evening walk in Michigan, killing their 3-year-old daughter Harlow Smith and injuring the parents and a 72-year-old bystander.Banks reportedly accelerated off the road, struck the family pulling a pink wagon, then fired a shotgun at them multiple times.He beat the father with the weapon, grabbed the mother by the hair attempting to break her neck, and bludgeoned the elderly woman Barb Cook so severely she required brain surgery and remains in a coma.
