6. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.Mark 13:6. The disciples of Jesus are impressed by the temple building. Jesus tells them that in the future not one stone will be left upon another. Whatever you put before Jesus is vanity and useless. Jesus is eternal, as is His reward; there is nothing on this earth that will last forever. Jesus tells all mankind, "Get to know Me, the true Son of God." Once you know Him, you will never be deceived by a fake. A fake Jesus will not give his life that you may live. A fake Jesus cannot reward you with eternal life. A fake Jesus cannot forgive your sins. A fake Jesus can never testify before Almighty God that you have been declared not guilty because his blood was shed for you. Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, has been with the Father before anything was ever created. He is the Savior of the World, and He will never leave you, or forget you, or disappoint you. You get close to Jesus by reading His Word, trusting, and loving Him. Amen.
