3. And his raiment became shining, exceedingly white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.Mark 9:3. Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up a high mountain. There He is transfigured, and He appears with Moses and Elijah, who speak with Him. Jesus reveals His true glory, showing He is the Son of God, not just a teacher or prophet. Moses and Elijah are there; they represent the Law and Prophets, showing that Jesus fulfills both. Now, if this was not enough to prove who Jesus really is, Almighty God calls down from heaven, saying, "This is my beloved Son, listen to Him." This is confirmation from divine authority of who Jesus is, and for the disciples and all believers to listen to and obey Jesus, the Savior of the world. Amen.
