🇺🇸 TEXAS HERO 🇺🇸 During State of the Union, we got to witness something truly powerful.Petty Officer 2nd Class Scott Ruskan, a U.S. Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer, was recognized by President Trump for extraordinary bravery during the devastating Central Texas floods on July 4.When rising waters put lives in danger, Ruskan stepped in to help evacuate 169 people to safety. One hundred and sixty-nine. Families. Children. Neighbors.He was awarded the Legion of Merit, one of the nation’s highest military honors, for his heroic actions.In a world that moves fast, it’s important to pause and recognize real courage when we see it.
