I think Clarence Thomas is right as he wrote in his dissent neither statutory text nor the Constitution provide a basis for ruling against the President when Congress delegates authority to regulate imports and history shows that delegation can include tariffs I believe the branches of government should not micromanage each other when Justices Gorsuch Jackson Roberts Kagan Sotomayor and Barrett step in to override executive authority on tariffs it crosses that line and undermines the balance of power our Constitution is meant to protect
